Bplus' new puzzler has finally been confirmed for a WiiWare release in the US this Monday.

PLÄTTCHEN - twist 'n' paint, which had the honour of being the first WiiWare game to be revealed last summer, hit the Wii Shop Channel in Europe last Friday following one and a half years of development time and several delays from its initial WiiWare launch target.

Our American pals will soon be able to get their hands on Bplus' unique puzzler, as Bplus have told N-Europe that PLÄTTCHEN is slated for a WiiWare release on Monday 22nd of September in the US.

Combining the traditional block-connecting gameplay of puzzlers such as Tetris with many new concepts (shooting, the direction of the level's gravity, your available shooting power, an on-screen avatar and an onslaught of evil obstacles), PLÄTTCHEN is a brilliant game for puzzle fans seeking out something new and as addictive as the nightmare-haunting wonder that is Tetris.

PLÄTTCHEN - twist 'n' paint is available now in Europe for 1500 Wii Points.

Wow, what the heck is going on in that video? I'm really confused. Never liked to play Tetris myself, boring games. Preferring Meteos over most of the puzzle games I've tried. Meteos is really fast paced, has fun combo system and works well as multiplayer game.
