We reported on the release of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes this week, and that while the game in general has been well received, the Switch version has taken a bit of a beating:

Early impressions are mixed, with reviewers praising the combat and story but, in a story as old as time, complaining of performance issues on the Nintendo Switch version.

Developers of Eiyuden Chronicle have taken to Twitter to quell fears and assure us that a patch is incoming to fix certain issues:

Greetings Heroes, A patch fixing the following issues will be distributed soon:

1) Recruiting bug for Lam

2) Cooking Battle judging scores

3) Encounter Rate for enemies

4) Some minor issues

We are diligently researching technical improvements for Switch performance issues, aiming to release this patch at the earliest possible opportunity.
