Nintendo has just announced a new tournament for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate which will be running from August 9th 2019 and will last three days.

There is a "Hero Vs Villain" theme and the better you do in the tournament, the better the Spirits you'll receive.

It certainly sounds like a good way to keep the good times rolling in what has already proven to be a very popular title indeed for Nintendo and for Switch owners in general.
