Episode 55 of the N-E Café has hosts Lee Davies, Gregory Moffett and Nick Lone taking you through the most noteworthy Nintendo news, reviewing their recently played games, and asking if the recent Switch firmware update portends to what we expect from the NSO.
This is episode 55 of the N-E Café Podcast, an N-Europe Podcast. Enjoy!
This week, the boys talk about the latest Nintendo related gaming news of the past week, and the latest e-Shop games which have just been released. There's also plenty of gaming related discussion, including Greg playing a few rounds of Snooker 19, and pulling off a few tricks in Lonely Mountains: Downhill.
Nick embarks on an epic adventure, as he starts playing Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition on the Switch, this is the third time that the game has been released, including the original Wii release and the New 3DS exclusive edition, it also appears to live up to its name as it is very much the definitive version. (another JRPG which is very much worth playing, if you have a potential seventy-plus hours to put into it) - Sam
Lee works out a winning strategy in Steampunk Tower 2, which is a Tower Defence game set in an alternative Steampunk universe, which seems to offer many hours of quality entertainment, if this is a genre which you're interested in. And if you are potentially interested in it, then this is on sale at £6.29 on the Nintendo eShop until 03/02/2021 on a long-term price reduction. (also worth noting in the sales is Freedom Planet, which is half price at £6.49 until 16/12/2020, one which I'll likely purchase thanks to it being highlighted on this very podcast) - Sam
The big topic this week, is Firmware Updates & Online Services, which includes the news of the latest firmware update, which includes that rather prominent Nintendo Switch Online icon on the home screen, in addition to other improvements, talk about what could be changed as part of the subscription, and other interesting points. Indeed, if you'd like to join in with the discussion, then you can always do so in the N-E Café Podcast thread.
All of this, and much more is talked about in this latest episode, we hope that you enjoy it and without further ado, you can find the link below...
