Banjo-Kazooie making their triumphant return to a Nintendo platform for the first time in almost fifteen years (counting the GBA titles) is more than enough cause for celebration in itself.

Having the bear and bird duo join the roster of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and seeing them return looking arguably better than ever makes this even more of a special occasion.

While many Smash players will have bought the season-pass with all five characters, the range of titles and third-parties are quite broad that these IP's are taken from, so it's understandable that players wouldn't necessarilly feel the need to buy every character, even though it's great to have a large character roster.

Our very own Jonathan Stanley was doing just fine without Joker from Persona or the Hero from Dragon Quest but then a childhood favourite in the form of Rare's finest duo Banjo & Kazooie happened and well... see and hear his reaction for yourself alongside reveal footage and a glimpse of N-Europe's Banjo-Kazooie night on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate which happened soon after the latest fighter(s) were added to the roster.
