Original N64europe Review

Swooof.... swooof wooof.... and he finished first... You'll probably have heard of the game AeroGauge. Either way keep reading because when you've finished reading this report you'll know if this is tha game to buy or te leave in the shop waiting to get in to Sale.

AeroGauge is a futuristic hovercraft racing game. You could compare it with the game 'Extreme-G', it also offers SPEED!! AeroGauge features five vehicles which all have different characteristics like speed, accelaration, steering, shield and stability. These are all the things you need in this game. You'll probably wonder why you need shields.. We do? Yes because you haven't got the ability to kill you opponent in this game. Well there is a simple explanation: Walls.... Kabam you crashed into a wall. There are some hidden vehicles in the game which can be accessed by ending a lap with a time ending with the 2 numbers 64. A giant N64 controller is one of the hidden vehicles. Just like Extrem-G each race lasts 3 laps. If you have finished the laps as a champion you'll will get two bonus laps!

The game has got quite good graphics.. not really what you expect of the 64-bit machine. But the controls make this game still playable. The game for example features a great gameplay: responsive controls and realistic. It is like you'r really steering a hovercraft.

The game features a multiplayer mode and some single player modes. The single player modes are: Grand Prix, One match and Time attack. You haven't really got a big choice what to do in this game. You can also choose you music track.. there are 26 tracks to choose of.

Well, I think this game really is a piece of krap... this must have been the reason for the fact it took me so long to write a review about this game. If you want some advice for a good racing game is suggest to buy Extreme-G or wait for the two upcoming games NASCAR 99 and the new Formule 1 racing game! (old review... he he he)
