Game Details: Animal Crossing: Wild World

Animal Crossing is getting souped up for the DS, and it's definitely a title to keep an eye on. Superficial use of the DS' new features include using the touch interface to design personalised furniture, clothers etc. and for in-game movement, but real interest is in possible online gameplay.It makes sense: the entire concept of the game is based on emulating real-life communities, so expanding that into the online world would exponentially increase the scope of the game. Wi-Fi is good but limited; what would make our day would be a proper online infrastructure for the console to provide for such a widening of scope.The idea of playing the superb Animal Crossing on the move is exciting, but the impact of AC DS will largely depend on what Nintendo do or don't do with the DS' online abilities.
