A Lamborghini licenced racing game that's a cross between sim and arcade.

Always liked Lamborghini racing cars?? Then this should be the game you've been waiting for.

Lamborghini is not completely like other games, Automobili Lamborghini has a few extra options that makes itself different from other racing games. The Basic options are the same though: Arcade, Championship, Single Race and Time Trial. You've got the choice of standard mode or custom mode in the championship. The custom mode allows you to change the race length and the number of pit-stops. Now we come to the first unusual option, you have to help fixing your car yourself in the pit-stop, pretty funny but if it takes you too long it sucks.

Like the most N64 racing games Automobili Lamborghini offers the option of racing with four players. It also supports the rumble pack option, what makes the game feel much more realistic. There are 6 circuits which aren't very spectacular. You've got 6 cars to choose from. What I think is a shame is that you can't see the damage your car takes during the race. It doesn't matter how hard you hit the wall or you opponents, you always keep everything in one piece. You've got the choice of three views. All the info you need is also on the screen (speed, lap, gear, rank). The only way to drive your car is with the stick. Sometimes I think the game is a bit to easy, because it's not difficult to finish the championship on 1st rank. Maybe they should have made the gameplay a bit more difficult.

All together it's a pretty good game to have on your N64, but it's not fantastic.
