Doom 64 is what I thought it would be! The graphics are much improved (what do you expect on the N64), and the levels have been redesigned. It's time to get all the weapons out of the closet.

It's a bit weird that there is a new Doom, because you killed all the aliens in the other parts. But one of them survived and brought all his dead friends to the emergency room where George Clooney brought them all back to life. But who cares as long as you can shoot everybody... who needs a storyline in a shoot 'm up game!

The levels are even without the dark monster deadly. Every step can kill you, darts flying out of the wall and gigantic heat seeking fireballs. Doom 64 also has 4 difficulties: 1. Be gentle 2. Bring it on 3. I own Doom. 4.Watch me die.

Doom 64 is much more complicated because you have to push buttons in the game sometimes more than once. This sometimes has as consequence that you're stuck in a room for hours searching for a button or a teleporter. There are also some secret levels which you won't find easily, as well as the needed items. You really have to search for them. It's not only a shoot 'm up game, it's also a puzzle.... hmmmm gets very boring after a while looking for the monsters.

Well, if you liked the other doom versions on PC it is a fantastic game and worth buying, but if you've never liked Doom games you'd better wait for other games coming out.
