Game Details: Rampage: World Tour
The classic arcade game comes to N64
Original N64europe review
Features:
# Midway/96 Megabits
# 1 to 3 Players
# 200 stages
Graphics:
Since the game is 2-D graphics do not look so good. Graphics look smooth but the frame rate is kinda slow. There is less detail in some places because 200 levels had to be designed.
Play Control:
Play control is simple so anyone can master it. Even a person who never played this game could master the controls in less the n a minute.
Game Design:
The game is almost the same to the arcade version and it runs much smoother. There are no changes in levels from the two versions.
Satisfaction:
Rampage is a very simple game but not so fun in one player. This game is great just for multiplayer.
Sound:
The sound is not so good. You always hear people screaming and explosions everywhere. The music does not add any realism to the game.
Comments/Summary:
Another arcade game gone Nintendo. Rampage explains it all. The main object of the game is to destroy as much stuff out of the city and get more points. You can eat people and catch airplanes from the sky. Very destructive! The 2D environment makes the controls easy. 200 stages takes a while to beat but with the multyplayer it is much easier. There is some music heard throughout the game but sound is really sweet.
