Nintendo announces Wind Waker HD Wii U console & special edition Wind Waker HD

Nintendo confirms something they accidentally announced last week; a Wind Waker themed Wii U will launch alongside the game in October. The standalone title will also come in a special edition flavour.

Eiji Aonuma reveals the GameCube remake is being used as a testing ground for the next entry in the acclaimed series on Wii U, but is also wary of fan demands and expectations placed on him and Nintendo, saying "The gaming community is — I don’t want to sound rude, or anything — very fickle."
