Graphics:

Iguana West made WWF War Zone wrestlers as realistic as possible and equipped them with their signature moves. The animation is smooth and the frame rate is really good.

Play Control:

Play control is not like an ordinary wrestling game but more like a tournament game controls. It is easy to learn the basic moves but sometimes wrestlers do not perform them according to their conditions.

Game Design:

WWF War Zone is full of different modes such as Royal Rumble and a cage Match. You can even create your own wrestler and test them in the ring.

Satisfaction:

The game is really good. There is a small amount of wrestlers but the graphics and a create-a-player option substitute that. The game looks realistic no matter if you are a wrestling fan or not.

Sound:

There are many intro. music but the announcers add more to the fight. The announcers have many comments to keep throughout the match.

Comments/Summary:

WWF’s first game on Nintendo 64 and it looks very nice. The characters look excellent and are really detailed. Play control is OK but not that hard to learn. There is a build-a-wrestler option that is really cool and few other cheat codes that enable other wrestlers and different modes. There are many different modes of fighting. Almost all wrestlers have their own theme songs and own moves. The sound is satisfying.
