3 more titles confirmed for Switch launch

Tomorrow Corporation have confirmed 3 games for the Nintendo Switch launch : World of Goo, Little Inferno and Human Resource Machine!

Indie developers Tomorrow Corporation have pledged huge support for the new Nintendo console by announcing three of their most beloved titles for the systems launch.

With a strong history on Nintendo consoles dating back to their fantastic WiiWare title World of Goo, Tomorrow Corporation plan to port all 3 games over to the Switch with a few extra features thrown in for good measure.

We were huge fans of Little Inferno when it first launched on Wii U, giving it an 8 out of 10 in our review back when it launched in 2012.

Whilst it remains difficult to pin down its appeal, Little Inferno is pure, unadulterated joy. Just a quick trip to the game's Miiverse community reveals what unexpected fun there is to be had by those willing to take the plunge on something a bit different (and it's also an invaluable source of help for the more opaque combos). You'll be absolutely hooked for the hours you spend racking your brains on the combos.

This is the first time that the critically acclaimed World of Goo will be playable on modern consoles as it has only previously been available on Wii and iPad. We went hands-on with the title many moons ago.

World of Goo could be described as a cross between Jenga and Lemmings, with an additional few hundred heaped tablespoons of pure, unadulterated fun. By assuming the control of an all-powerful Goo God who has taken the mortal form of a pixellated cursor (not officially confirmed), the lives of hundreds of small gooey creatures are in your very capable hands. You must manipulate these small, sticky spheres to create towering structures in order to make your way across the globular maps to the vacuum-powered pipes which are just waiting to suck up all your goo.

Human Resource Machine is a puzzle game. In each level, your boss gives you a job. Automate it by programming your little office worker! If you succeed, you'll be promoted up to the next level for another year of work in the vast office building.

Don't worry if you've never programmed before - programming is just puzzle solving. If you strip away all the 1's and 0's and scary squiggly brackets, programming is actually simple, logical, beautiful, and something that anyone can understand and have fun with!

Exclusive to the Nintendo Switch version of these games is Soundtrack Mode that lets you enjoy the full original soundtracks by Kyle Gabler.

This trio of indie titles joins an ever-growing list of recently announced Switch games such as LEGO Worlds and I am Setsuna.

Will you be picking up any of these titles when they launch alongside the Switch this March?
