Update
According to Kotaku the studio is not actually shutting down, but rather have laid off many employees which has led many to believe the studio is shutting down. According to creative director Jeremiah Slaczka the mobile Scribblenauts game has been canned, which has resulted in layoffs and a team he now describes as "tiny".
The original report where it was believed they were shutting down remains below.
Original Report
According to Tim Borrelli who is a lead animator at 5TH Cell, the studio behind the beloved Scribblenauts and Drawn To Life games is shutting down.
His tweet from this evening suggests that people from all departments are losing their jobs as he claims "RIP 5TH Cell".

5TH Cell has yet to provide an official statement, with the company's own Twitter account stating back in December they were looking for employees. Their website meanwhile lists the PC game Hybrid as being out in 2016.
If true, 5TH Cell unfortunately join two other studios that have shut down or changed path this month - Lionhead Studios and Two Tribes. Two Tribes will continue to provide support, but a statement by the company earlier this month stated they were no longer making new games.
In what can only be classed as the smallest slither of silver lining, other studios have already begun tweeting Tim with recruitment possibilities, which he is retweeting on his own account.
