Nintendo's popular amiibo brand has teamed up with the power-house toys-to-games franchise Skylanders.

Skylanders Superchargers is a new title in the series that has new racing elements. As well as Skylanders characters, there will be exclusive Wii U Bowser and Donkey Kong Skylander models for this title that can be scanned right into the game. 

Each character has moves based upon their rich history, such as Bowser's transformation to Drybones or Donkey Kong wielding one of his trademark barrels.

As well as being usable in the new Skylanders title, you'll also be able to turn the base and change them into amiibos and use them in current and future amiibo compatible titles.
