The Amazon listing we reported on yesterday has sadly been taken down by Amazon UK and they responded by stating that it was 'a mistake'.

The listing in question stated that the Wii U would cost £199.99 and that it was set to release in July. Whilst both the price and release date seemed slightly optimistic, gamers were quickly pre-ordering in the hope of getting the Wii U at a very reasonable price and resulted in the Wii U sky rocketing up the Amazon charts yesterday. 

Sadly, all of the pre-orders have now been cancelled and the listing has been taken down, so those who were fast to pre-order will not be getting the Wii U for £199.99. Nintendo has yet to unveil the final launch details for the Wii U but stay tuned for the latest as it breaks.
