A new party game based in the world of Animal Crossing has been announced for Wii U.

 It seems to play much like 'Amiibo Party' in Mario Party 10 as you have to place your Amiibo on the Gamepad to use the character on-screen.

Not much is known about the title so far but from the small gameplay video shown it seems to be more like monopoly in that landing on certain squares will create an event that makes you give up bells, as oppose to the mini-game focused Mario Party series.

Of course, if you need to use Amiibo in the game, surely we need some Animal Crossing amiibo? Well fear not, as the likes of K.K. Slider and Isabelle will be making their amiibo debut along with this title.
