Animal Crossing stays top in Japan for third week, Capcom's EX Troopers fails to impress

For the third consecutive week since release, Animal Crossing: New Leaf for Nintendo 3DS has remained top of the Japanese software charts, with this week seeing the game pass a million retail units sold (download sales would put the game's total sales higher).
Not even spirited debuts from the latest Call of Duty or Pokémon Mystery Dungeon could displace the smash-hit life-sim, which is selling at a startling pace even compared to its hugely successful predecessors.
Sadly, it's less great news for Capcom, whose anime-stylised Lost Planet spin-off EX Troopers failed to make much of an impact. The 3DS version of the game performed marginally better than the PS3 version, but the publisher surely cannot be happy with total first week sales barely passing 25k.
Here is the full software chart for the week of November 19th to 25th.
