Bakeru to get Western Release in September

The anticipated Goemon-inspired game Bakeru will be getting a western release on the 3rd September 2024, according to the Nintendo Switch e-Shop.

The game sets place in a fictional version of Japan that's a mix of modern Japan and old period drama, and is an action game with over 50 stages. It was developed by Good-Feel, who developed multiple games for Nintendo such as Kirby's Epic Yarn, Yoshi's Crafted World and Princess Peach: Showtime. More importantly, Good-Feel is led by Etsunobu Ebisu, who worked on Goemon 2 and the N64's Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon.

The western version will also some with a few improvements, such as some extra attacks and an additional boss. You can also download the demo right now.
