Warner Bros. has announced that Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - originally released on 3DS and Vita - will be heading to consoles, including Wii U.

The game is a spin-off of Batman: Arkham Origins - the third instalment in the Arkham series - and was developed for handhelds as a 2.5D action title by Armature Studios.

The developer will again be handling the console port, and it will release as Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - Deluxe Edition on the Wii U eShop. It is scheduled to release on April 1st in North America and April 2nd in Europe.
