We may never get TVii, but you can't say Nintendo are sloppy in providing the alternatives. Okay maybe you can, but despite a hugely long wait, BBC iPlayer is now available to download from the Wii U eShop.
It's only for users in the UK, of course. iPlayer lets you catch up on a huge range of TV shows and even films on the BBC's plethora of channels for up to thirty days after their original broadcast.
It even has the Wii U twist, with the ability to watch shows off-TV on the GamePad.
Best of all, it's available free of charge, so don't delay!
