Bloober Team in Collaboration with Nintendo

CEO of Bloober Team recently revealed that the developers are hard at work on something for Nintendo platforms, currently titled “Project M”.

Piotr Babieno spoke about his teams new Project titled "Project M" during an Interview with PAP Biznes, Poland’s national news agency. The translated text can be found below:

"Project M, although its budget is significantly smaller than the games we are working on at Bloober Team, is extremely important due to our long-term plans. In addition, we are working on it in cooperation with the world's best game creators for Nintendo platforms, so we cannot afford to create just a decent game”

Bloober Team are perhaps best known, at least in terms of Nintendo releases, for the Layers of Fear series, which had games on the Nintendo Switch with Layers of Fear: Legacy and Layers of Fear 2. In those titles, you traverse a house full of supernatural phenomena, and a world which shifts and changes in each play through, to convey the madness that is overtaking the protagonist.

Another Switch title under their belt is Observer, which much like Layers of Fear also has its roots in the psychological horror genre.

With all of this in mind, it’d be easy to draw the conclusion that perhaps Bloober Team are working with Nintendo on the recently announced Emio, but whether or not that’s coincidental timing is yet to be seen.
