After a few weeks of speculation, a sequel to Square-Enix's Bravely Default has officially been confirmed.

The sequel - titled Bravely Second - was officially revealed in the latest edition of Japanese mag Jump, and like its predecessor, will be coming to Nintendo 3DS. Bravely Second will be set in the same world as Bravely Default, and features gameplay mechanics introduced in the updated edition of the original, For The Sequel.

Artist Akihiko Yoshida, despite having left Square-Enix recently, will continue to work on the game, and it will feature the same gorgeous anime art style found in the original.
