Capcom announces 3DS game which uses Japanese public transport cards

Today Capcom announced that they are working on a game for the Nintendo 3DS which lets you scan the Japanese IC card, which is mostly used for public transport. While not much is known about the game (no title, no gameplay), we can already tell that the game will support about 10 different cards. Further, Japan's over 9,000 (Vegeta is displeased) train stations will appear in the game.
You will need either a New Nintendo 3DS or an older system with the NFC Reader attached. Scanning the cards will give you in-game items, and lets you communicate with characters in the game, based on your travel history.
What do you think of these new ways of using the NFC scanner? Let us know in the comments below!
