Capcom has revealed that they will be bringing Biohazard 7: Resident Evil (known as Resident Evil 7: Biohazard in the West) to the Nintendo Switch. Instead of a normal edition, the game comes out as a Cloud Edition.

Meaning, you will be able to play the game when subscribed to the service (2000 yen for 180 days) and a constant, steady internet connection is necessary. The download itself is only 42MB. There is a trial period of 15 minutes.

Biohazard 7: Resident Evil Cloud Edition will release on the Japanese eShop on May 24th. All DLC will be playable as well within the service. If, when and in what format the game will come to the West is yet unknown.
