Charts: Japanese Hardware & Software

It's all change in Japan for the week ending January 16th, 2005. The PSP has outsold the DS, and there's a new Game Boy Advance title at number one!

It seems that the Japanese just can't get enough of Mario Party, so they have purchased the new Game Boy Advance Mario Party Adavance title. What is interesting to note that is even though the PSP outsold the DS the software sales are still strongly in favour of the DS.

As stated before, the PSP has outsold the DS this week. However the hardware sales remain as tight as always, but those towards the lower end have seen a huge dip since last week.
