Japanese sales for the week ending June 24th.
Courtesy of Media-Create, we have the most recent sales figures from Japan.
This week, we see The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass shooting to number 1 in the charts. 2nd in the charts is also a newcomer, Itadaki Street DS, with less than half the sales of Phantom Hourglass. Hajime no Ippo: Revolution for the Wii also comes into the charts at number 6. 2 PS2 games also make the top 10, whereas the other 8 are games on Nintendo platforms. Observation Training, Wii Sports, Wii Play, More Brain Age and New Super Mario Bros. still retain strong positions in the charts.
No changes in the hardware sales, though. The DS leads by a massive amount, followed by Wii. PS3 weekly sales are still lower than PS2 sales, and 360 sales drop after it almost caught up to the PS3 last week.
