Charts: Latest Japanese Software & Hardware Sales

Japanese sales for the week ending May 27th.

Courtesy of Media-Create, we have the most recent sales figures from Japan.

Sales for the week have dropped off considerably from the numbers generated during Golden Week, despite the introduction of several new titles to the Top 10 including a new DS RPG by Bandai-Namco. Next week will mark a couple notable debuts. Nintendo will release a new training game that focuses on sharpening vision and powers of observation. Meanwhile the Wii will have the motion-optimized Resident Evil 4 courtesy of Capcom.

In hardware, the Japanese market maintained the pecking order of the last month. The DS continued to streak while the PS3 slithered to yet another underwhelming sales week below 10k.
