Charts: Latest Japanese Software & Hardware Sales

Belatedly, this week's sales charts continue to illustrate the effects of a "Sold Out" DS on the Japanese market for the week ending January 15th.

Courtesy of Media-Create, we have the most recent sales figures from Japan.

Another week in the supply doldrums has meant another week of the DS underselling likely demand. While system shipments will be boosted in a couple more weeks, the PSP's solid sales may certainly be capitalizing. Gamecube sales returned to more normal levels after a string of relatively strong weeks as the Japanese, along with most other folks around the world, essentially await the new Zelda.
