Classic JRPGs Grandia and Grandia II get the HD Remaster treatment

Publisher GungHo has announced that they will be bringing two classic RPGs to the Nintendo Switch. Grandia and Grandia II will be coming to the system this winter, both in a HD Remaster version.

Both games originated on Sega consoles. Grandia first appeared on the Sega Saturn in 1997, and Grandia II was released in 2000 on the Dreamcast.

A remastered version of Grandia II is already available on Steam, if you want to see how the remastered version will look. It is unclear though if the Switch version is based on the PC version.
