Crunchyroll now available for Wii

It may be a whole console generation behind but the guys over at Crunchyroll have finally released a port of their popular anime streaming app for the Wii.

Crunchyroll has become a bit of a household name with Anime fans the world over streaming popular shows such as Naruto, Bleach and Gundam via its on site streaming solution as well as handy apps for almost every platform including the Wii U.  The Wii version of this application is available free for everyone and can be downloaded from the Wii shop channel under the WiiWare category. Anime can be viewed with the option to watch episodes for free with adverts or by paying a monthly sub to remove them.

Although the Wii port of this application has been released quite some time after the Wii U edition it is welcome news for those who have a Wii sitting around and need a way to pack more anime into those rooms the Wii U controller cant quite reach.
