Dark Souls Remastered gets a release date

We have seen and heard a lot about Dark Souls Remastered already. However, a release date for the Switch version was not one of those things. Bandai Namco has finally shared that bit of info with us: the game will release on October 19. The Solaire amiibo will be released on the same day.
Ever since Bandai Namco announced Dark Souls Remastered for the Nintendo Switch, it's fair to say that owners of the console have been keen to know when they can get their hands on it ever since.
The US Twitter account also mentions that an online network test will be deployed before the game launches. The European channel does not mention this however. Bandai Namco previously announced a global test however, so chances are big we will be able to play the beta in Europe as well.
