Although the Switch did get a Disgaea game a few months ago in the form of the latest numbered entry in the series called Disgaea 5 Complete. Now it seems that Switch owners who are a fan of the series will soon be able to play a remake of the original PS2 title Disgaea: Hour of Darkness.
Reported in the most recent issue of Dengeki Playstation, it seems that there will be a limited edition of the game which will include; a desktop calander, soundtrack CD and the obligatory special packaging.
Of course there is no mention of a Western release just yet, but it's reasonable to assume that the game will likely make it across as the series is surely growing in popularity by this point and the added option of portability will surely allow many more players the chance to experience what many consider to be a modern-day classic JRPG which has a lot to love about it.
Are you a long-term fan of the series? Perhaps you've just played Disgaea 5 recently and would welcome either future entries of the series or more remakes for the Switch. Come and join in the discussion on our forum. (Credit to forum member and N-Europe supporter Sméagol)
