While fans are gearing up for a new adventure, Link himself is gearing up in a new Switch shirt that you can dress him in with some upcoming downloadable content.
Wii U and Switch owners will be able to purchase an expansion pack for €19.99/£17.99 when The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild launches on March 3rd that will give you access to two sets of downlodable content that will be available later this year.
As soon as you buy the pack three new treasure chests will appear in the Great Plateau area, one of which will contain a shirt with the Switch logo that Link can wear and the other two will, to quote the press release, "deliver useful items".
The first content pack will launch in the summer and contain a new Cave of Trials challenge, a hard mode and a new feature for the in-game map.
The second pack will launch in time for Christmas 2017 and will add new challenges, a new dungeon and a new original story.
Both packs will be identical between the Switch and Wii U (including the Switch shirt), but cannot be purchased individually. An explanatory video can be found below.
For those keeping track at home, this brings the Switch version up to £77.98 (based on the £59.99 RRP of the solus game) without factoring in amiibos. Better start cutting down some grass.
