Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D developer revealed

Whilst Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D was announced last month, Nintendo offered no indication of who had been contracted to develop the title. Sacred studio Retro Studios were the original creators of the 2010 game, but most had been hoping that they were busy working on a big-name Wii U title.
A month on, it's finally come to the fore who is making the 3DS port. The game's entry on the Australian Classification ratings board has revealed that it is American studio Monster Games developing the title.
The second-party studio usually specialises in racing games, although their last title was the 3DS launch game Pilotwings Resort. Prior to that, Monster created the hit Wii racer Excite Truck and it's non-Europe sequel Excitebots.
Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D is due out in the summer of 2013.
