Capcom has announced that DuckTales: Remastered will release on the European Wii U eShop on August 15th for €14.99.

The game is a full remake of the classic 8-bit platformer, based on the adventures of Scrooge McDuck. The original game gained a substantial cult following for its fluid 2D gameplay and iconic soundtrack, so there are arguably no developers better qualified to deliver a remastering than Shantae and Mighty Switch Force! creator WayForward Technologies.

To celebrate the announcement, the studio released a short look at the creative process behind the game.
