Nintendo today informed the gaming world that F-Zero will be the first game to utilise the Tri-Force platform. According to the press conference, F-Zero will support 4 players in total, which is what everybody hoped for.

Nintendo also explained that the Tri-Force system does in fact use the same motherboard as the GameCube, so is extremely similar to the GameCube in the way it operates. This means that those arcade ports for the GC are going to be every bit as easy as Nintendo have promised all along - good news indeed!
