After the suprising screen splurge this morning it seems that Nintendo want to comment on the upcoming E3 in May. They issued the following statement.

As Nintendo gears up for the 2003 E3 Expo in Los Angeles, the industry's leading third-party publishers are lining up to show their support for Nintendo GameCube. In addition to Nintendo's own first-party titles, Nintendo's booth at the annual trade show will feature more than 35 additional titles from companies licensed to produce games for Nintendo GameCube.
