Starcraft Ghost, the tactical action game set in Blizzard's Starcraft universe was shown today to the press. The story driven missions will see the players take the role of Nova, a highly skilled future special agent member of the Ghosts, operatives trained in espionage and combat. The missions will involve both infiltration and tactical combat, and players will use a vast arsenal of different weapons and psionic powers. Progressing through the game, players could also use vehicles (obvously taken from the Starcarft range, such as the Vulture hovercycles and the Arclite tanks) and external support, like satellite sweeps or nuclear strikes.

The president and co-founder of Blizzard, Mike Morhaime, stated "We look forward to bringing the StarCraft universe to a new group of gamers. Our goal is to expand on the gritty sci-fi story line that helped make StarCraft a success, while taking advantage of everything that the current console systems have to offer."
