Nintendo has revealed a new realistic Zelda game!
Call it bowing to fan pressure, call it a step in the right direction, call it an evolution but Nintendo are going to finally give Nintendo fans what they want!
We have to take a deep breath here, because quite frankly, we have barely breathed in the last half an hour. This is what you want to hear, folks:
Nintendo are releasing a new Legend of Zelda game featuring a realistic Link in a mature-ultra real world featuring some of the greatest graphics ever seen on a Nintendo machine and some of the biggest and most awe-inspiring fights ever to grace your television. In the clip we see Link battling all manner of familiar and unfamiliar monsters in a light and dark world rendered in beautiful and stunning 3D -this could well be every Zelda fans dream since The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
The short but breath taking video was screened just before the silhouette of a Link-Garbed Shigeru Miyamoto stepped onto the stage wielding the sword and shield favoured by the Hero Of Time himself. Miyamoto had very little to say, but on the Legend of Zelda he told the cheering crowd that (time) "Can not stand still: Neither can I."
And we can't sit down Mr Miyamoto, we have to salute you.
