You want backwards compatability? Revolution will allow you to play every Nintendo home console game from the NES onwards.

In a move that will delight retro enthusiansts everywhere, Nintendo President Satoru Iwata announced at the company's E3 conference that the Revolution will offer gamers the opportunity to purchase and download every game that's appeared on the NES, SNES, N64, as well as playing the Gamecube's discs in the console.

Mr Iwata boasted that the console opened over 20 years of Nintendo history to players. No specifics have been given on the cost of such retro downloading yet.
