At the press conference Iwata-san hinted the 'revolutionary' aspect of the Revolution lay in the controller. Unfortunately we'll have to wait to see that.

We waited... but it never came. In his Revolution presentation the Nintendo president teased the audience about the console's controller, hinting it was what was so revolutionary about the machine. Unfortunately, he stopped short of giving details and didn't show the actual joypad off.

We would see it "later" he promised. How later is unclear at the moment; if it was ready for the show logic dictates they would have presented it at the conference. Since it wasn't, we can assume we have a wait on our hands.
