A late piece of E3 news here, concerning the upcoming Scurge DS game. Click inside for more information...
Nothing much had been heard of Scurge: Hive until last week at E3 when the first details emerged. In the game you play as Jenosa Arma, a bounty hunter, who discovers a distress signal from a remote research lab studying a virulent organism identified as the "Scurge", capable of remarkable metamorphic and energy abilities. As Jenosa Arma, you are commissioned by a black-ops cell from the government to investigate and salvage any research technology from within the facility. Armed with top-secret projectile gauntlets and a prototype battle suit, it sounds more than a teensy bit Metroidy but looks to be shaping up to be a great game none-the-less.
Orbital's President Steve Shatford said the game is "an intense fast-paced action-packed game from start to finish," and that it "raises the bar... Huge bosses, unique combat system, an absolutely massive game. This game just pushed a whole new dimension."
Due out in the US during September for both Gameboy Advance and Nintendo DS, we'll bring you more news on a European launch date when we can.
