E3 2005: THQ Announce Zoo Tycoon DS

THQ have announced a DS version of the popular Zoo Tycoon series!
In Zoo Tycoon DS players must manage all aspects of their custom-built zoo, and will have the ability to buy and adopt an assortment of animals, such as tigers and giraffes – and the player must also cater for the visitors to the zoo with gift shops and food outlets.
It’s not clear how the DS interface, particularly the touch screen, will be used exactly but THQ says it is aiming for "seamless life simulation gameplay."
Expect to hear more about the first handheld Zoo Tycoon in the near future!
