E3 2006: Nintendo Launches E3 Website

Nintendo is ready for E3, to be held in less than a week... and yes, they have the official E3 homepage to prove it.
E3 2006 just may end up going down as the E3 to rule them all...and Nintendo will very likely have the most prominent role to play at the event. Fully recognizing this, the company is preparing a massive flood of DS goodness and Wii revelations and hands-on experiences. To further aid and abet the proliferation of information about their hotly anticipated wares (which will no doubt be coursing over the entire internet), Nintendo of America is planning to have their official webpage teeming with game information. They will also host a live broadcast of the conference event (however, expect their servers to be hammered mercilessly). Nintendo of Europe also have a mini-site in the works which will launch shortly.
The floodgates will open on the 9th during Nintendo's pre-E3 conference at the cavernous Kodak theatre (home of the Academy Awards). R-E will have personnel in place to provide first-hand coverage and expect the rest of us to be working many overtimes to provide up-to-the-minute show revelations. It's almost here, Nintendo fans.
Update: Nintendo Europe is ready with their own E3 hub as well. Its just a teaser right now but we expect it to be bursting with goodies in a weeks time. Check it out here. Thanks to R-E reader Jasper for the tip!
