E3 2006: Peter Moore Says Buy A Wii

No you're not seeing things, Microsofts very own Peter Moore recomends gamers buy the Wii (as well as a 360).

Strange as it sounds Mircosofts Peter Moore believes gamers will/should buy a Wii over the highly priced PS3. In a recent interview with Reuters he said:

"Tell me why you would buy a $600 PS3? People are going to buy two [machines]. They're going to buy an Xbox and they're going to buy a Wii for the price of one PS3. People will always gravitate toward a competitively priced product, like what I believe Wii will be, with innovative new designs and great intellectual property like Mario, Zelda and Metroid."

Looks like Microsoft also believe Sony may have shot themselves in the foot with their price tag and don't mind giving the Wii a little push to help it when it goes head to head with the PS3 on release.

Cheers to R-E forum member Hero-Of-Time for the heads-up!
