E3 2006: SNK Playmore's E3 Line-Up

Only a handful of games, but some decent support for the Big N. The full list can be found inside!

SNK Playmore have today revealed they will premiere five new games next week at E3, for a variety of platforms, including the Wii. As we previously reported, the company will be bringing Metal Slug Anthology to the platform, as well as several other titles for Nintendo systems.

The company's full list follows:

  • The King of Fighters 2006 (PS2) - Autumn
  • Metal Slug Anthology (Wii, PSP) - Autumn
  • SNK vs Capcom Card Fighters DS (DS) - Autumn
  • Metal Slug (GBA) - Autumn
  • As we have already reported, SNK's first title for the Wii, Metal Slug Anthology, is a celebration of the 10th anniversary of one of the greatest action arcade franchises of all time. Featuring a compilation of six MG titles plus as yet announced bonus materials, all games have been reconfigured to work with the Wii's free-hand controller.

In SNK vs Capcom Card Fighters DS, SNK is bringing its card battling series to a new generation of gamers. The title is the first new game in the series since 2000. Players build decks of characters pulled from the annals of SNK and Capcom gaming history for the ultimate strategic battle.

And Metal Slug for the GBA is the original arcade classic that started the series. Featureing non-stop action packed 2D missions and classic over-the-top boss characters to challenge gamers' skills, you'll be able to battle General Morden and his evil forces with a huge array of weapons at your disposal.
