Nintendo portables will be getting quite a bit of love...
At this year's E3 Square-Enix will have no shortage of support for Nintendo's popular portables. The company is planning to show:
The Final Fantasy titles will likely generate the greatest buzz out of the aforementioned titles, though a localized Children of Mana (already released in Japan after garnering a 36/40 in Famitsu) should prove attractive as well. Speaking of the FF titles, keep an eye open for new details on the expanded content Square plans to add to those classics. Finally, intriguing in it's own right, Rocket Slime marks the first western release of a Slime MoriMori game. The series, which features the famous Dragon Quest slime in an action-RPG setting, has been touted for fun game design and humourous characters and settings. How the game's decidely Japanese tilt in humour will fare in transition should prove interesting.
Also make note of the glaring absence of high profile S-E titles from this list, including Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles for the DS and Revolution as well as the WiFi-enabled Mario Basket: 3 on 3 for the DS. These titles will likely be displayed prominently in Nintendo's own booth.
