E3 2008: Animal Crossing Dated

Nintendo have now announced a release date for Animal Crossing: City Folk.
The Wii incarnation of Animal Crossing has been confirmed, well for the US at least and likely Japan, to hit stores this year. For now Europeans will need to hold tight and hope that we will get the game in December, this side of the New Year.
Animal Crossing: City Folk is set to hit the US this year on the 16th November. The WiiSpeak peripheral will also debut on the same day allowing room-to-room interaction with people over large distances, which will retail at $29.99. As it's not being bundled in, it can only mean other games will make use of WiiSpeak, hopefully soon after it's launch.
