Breaking: In a surprising announcement, Nintendo have confirmed a peripheral which will allow for more accurate Wii controls, with a promise of 1:1 gameplay response.

Directly from Nintendo of America, we've just received news of a brand new Wii Remote attachment which will be fully unveiled at Nintendo's E3 conference tomorrow evening: Wii MotionPlus.

The peripheral plugs into the port on the bottom of the Wii Remote and is said to quickly and accurately reflect motions in a 3D space. The device allows for more comprehensive tracking of a player's arm position and orientation and reportedly provides players with "an unmatched level of precision and immersion".
